Decision:
(i) That a traffic order be implemented under
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be
to extend the existing 40mph speed limit by approximately 700
metres, reducing the existing 50mph speed limit on A36 Romsey
Road/Salisbury Road between a point 190 metres north of its
junction with A31 Romsey Road and its roundabout junction with A326
on and off slip roads.
(ii) In addition, the proposed order shall revoke and re-enact the
same provisions as contained in The Hampshire (A36 Romsey
Road/Salisbury Road Area, Ower) (40 and 50 Miles Per Hour Speed
Limit) Order 2016, save for the amendment in (i) above.
