To consider an exempt report giving a general update on the progress on strategic land sites within Hampshire and decisions required relating to Planning Obligations.

The decision:

a)      That approval be given to the Manydown Section 106 strategy set out in section 5 including those related to the lease and that authority be given to enter into any planning or legal agreements and transfers of legal interests in land necessary to secure the planning consent for Manydown and that the Director of Culture, Communities and Business Services (Strategic Manager - Assets and Development) to settle detailed terms and conditions.

b)      That approval be given to including the additional land within the Upper Cufaude Farm Option arrangement as outlined in the report and to enter into any legal or planning agreements necessary to enable the developer to secure planning permission and implement its development scheme. The Director of Culture, Communities and Business Services (Strategic Manager - Assets and Development) be authorised to settle detailed terms and conditions.

c)      That approval be given to finalise and agree the Manydown Joint Working Agreement with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council as part of the wider Manydown Project Governance below TopCo and the two authorities as land owners.
