Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee
Purpose of committee
The role of the Health and Adult Social Care Select Committee is to review how policies, services and decisions support safe, well, independent and continuously developing people (adults and older persons) and Public Health; how they are implemented and how performance is evaluated and improved.
The Committee focuses on how the County Council is contributing to delivering the Wellbeing agenda for adults; adult social care; promoting independence and quality of life for older people; healthy and safe families; Public Health: the integration of Health and Care services and relevant financial management.
It scrutinises the provision and operation of health services in Hampshire.
