the Hampshire Countryside Access Forum in 2015 under Section 53 of
the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, to record a footpath in
Stratfield Turgis. The application is supported by historic
documentary evidence that the applicant believes demonstrates that
a Public Right of Way should be recorded.
1.2 Having considered the evidence submitted with the application,
and undertaken additional research of historic documentary
evidence, it is considered that there are insufficient grounds to
record a footpath along the route.

to be accepted. The dedication is of land adjacent to the recorded
line of part of Bridleway 1, and of land to the south of the
current termination of the recorded line of Footpath 4. The width
of the dedicated bridleway is 2.5 metres; the width of the
dedicated footpath is 1.5 metres.
1.2. That authority is given under the provisions of section 118 of
the Highways Act (1980) to extinguish part of Bridleway 1 adjacent
to the proposed dedicated bridleway rights as it will not be needed
for use by the public following the dedication.
