Decisions made

1. That the Director, in consultation with the head of legal services to progress any necessary consents, legal agreements rights or easements or statutory procedures, approves the details of the Wallington Flood Alleviation Programme, as set out in this paper.
2. That the Director gives approval to procure, spend and enter into necessary contractual arrangements to implement this scheme, at a total estimated cost of £91,000.00, to be funded from the County Council's Flood Risk and Coastal Defence Programme.

That the Director of Economy, Transport and Environment, in consultation with the Executive Member for Environment and Transport, gives approval to award contracts up to the value of £1.5million (for the maximum six year period) to be funded from the Concessionary Travel Scheme Budget as set out in Sections 10 and 11 of this report to provide an Asset Management System/Host Operating Processing System, Customer Management System and Card Production Facilities for the Hampshire Concessionary Travel Scheme to commence on 1 October 2019 for an initial four years, with the option to extend for up to further two years.

That a Traffic Order be made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a 30mph speed limit between a point 16 metres north of its junction with the B3349 Basingstoke Road and a point 110 metres north of its junction with The Goldings.

1.1. Alamein Community Association was awarded £5,000 Community Investment Fund award on 14 January 2019 on condition a new lease is secured.
1.2. The decision is to remove the condition and pay the award to the organisation.

To consider a report of the Director of Economy, Transport and Environment regarding the review of the Experimental Traffic Order prohibiting right turns from The Causeway onto the A33 at Heckfield. The purpose of implementing an Experimental traffic order was to provide a sufficient period to assess compliance with the restriction and the wider impact of the ban on surrounding roads.

To consider a report of the Director of Economy, Transport and Environment seeking approval to amend the extents of the approved Botley Bypass to accommodate the off-site requirements of the Woodhouse Lane Development, subject to the approval of the hybrid planning application for Land West of Woodhouse Lane currently being considered by Eastleigh Borough Council.

To consider a report of the Director of Economy, Transport and Environment seeking approval to make two changes to policies used at the Household Waste Recycling Centres across Hampshire concerning charges for disposal of soil and rubble and the price point at which individual items for sale require labelling.
