Purpose:

To consider a report of the Director of Economy, Transport and Environment seeking approval for Phase 2 of the Farringdon Flood Alleviation scheme following completion of Phase 1. The aim of the flood alleviation scheme is to improve the management of both surface and groundwater conveyed by ordinary watercourses adjacent or near to the A32 highway through the village of Lower Farringdon and by a main river to Chawton village.
