1. That the Director approves the details of
improvements to the landfill management equipment at three closed
former landfill sites as part of the County Council’s duty to
manage their environmental legacy, as set out in this
paper.
2. That the Director gives approval for Veolia UK Ltd, the County
Council’s appointed waste contractor, to procure, spend and
enter into necessary contractual arrangements on the
Authority’s behalf to implement this scheme,
at a total estimated cost of £155,000 to be funded from the
Waste and Resource Management capital budget.
3. That the Director approves this addition to the 2021/22 Capital
Programme at a value of £155,000.
