Election of Chairman
To appoint a Chairman until the Annual Meeting of the Authority in 2024.
Minutes:
Councillor Rhydian Vaughan was proposed by Councillor Karen Lucioni and seconded by Councillor Zoe Huggins. There were no other nominations and Cllr Vaughan was unanimously voted in as the new Chairman of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority for 2023/24.

Minutes:
Councillor Rhydian Vaughan was proposed by Gary Hughes. There were no other nominations and Cllr Vaughan was unanimously voted in as the new Chairman of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority for 2022/23.
Upon his election, the Chairman initiated a minute’s silence for the anniversary of the Grenfell disaster.
