To receive a report of the Authority.

The Council received the report as presented by Councillor Rhydian Vaughan, in his capacity as Chairman of the Authority. Councillor Vaughan undertook to respond outside the meeting to a question from Councillor Porter on the availability of waders for residents placing sandbags.  Responding to a question about recruitment and retention issues for On-Call (Retained) Firefighters, Councillor Vaughan confirmed that the service relied on the availability of community members with time and flexibility, and was not a matter of pay and conditions.
