Councillor Perry welcomed attendees. There were no announcements made.

Members received a presentation from Maggie Blyth, Chair of the Hampshire Safeguarding Children’s Board. It was noted that the Board were the key statutory mechanism for agreeing how the relevant organisations in Hampshire will co-operate and work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and for ensuring that this work is effective. The Board maintains key relationships with Health and Wellbeing Board, Children’s Trust, Police and Crime Commissioner and Health Economy.
