The role of the Economy, Transport and
Environment Select Committee is to review policies, services and
decisions which support a positive and sustainable environment,
accessibility to services for all and effective management of
natural resources. These include
passenger transport, transport policy, road infrastructure, access,
protection of the environment, flood and coastal erosion risk,
climate change, land management, waste management, and economic and
sustainable development.
