1. That the Director approves the details of the Vicarage Hill in Hartley Wintney scheme, as set out in this paper.
2. That the Director gives approval to procure, spend and enter into necessary contractual arrangements to implement this scheme, at a total estimated cost of £196,000, to be funded from Developer Contributions.
3. That the Director approves a variation to the Capital Programme to reflect the increase in scheme value from £170,000 to £196,000. There are some additional carriageway repair works identified at the design stage.

It is recommended that the Executive Member for Countryside and Rural Affairs approves the Rural Communities Fund grant application to provide a £10,000 contribution towards the building of the Candover Valley Community Store and Post Office in Preston Candover.

19/10/2018 - Creation of a Joint Venture Local Authority Trading Company – legal model options ref: 866    Recommendations Approved

Decision:

1.1. The proposed company and trading names of the new Joint Venture were noted - ‘Hampshire and Kent Commercial Services’ and ‘Connect2Hampshire’ respectively;

1.2. It was agreed that the new Joint Venture will be created as a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), and legal advice in this respect was noted;

1.3. It was also noted that following decision 1.2 above, Commercial Services Kent Ltd will:

a) Instruct their legal representatives to continue with the creation of all legal documentation (i.e. the Membership Agreement and Joint Accountability Statements), in consultation with HCC’s legal advisors;

b) Proceed with the creation and incorporation of the new Joint Venture LLP.
