To implement a revised set of Hampshire Archives and Local Studies’ (HALS’s) fees and charges with effect from 1 September 2022.
To increase selected fees and charges, having benchmarked them with other local authorities who are providing archive services at a similar level, and to make some adjustments, ensuring fees and charges accord with inflationary rises and to reflect the true cost of providing these services.

An update to fees and charges following changes made during Coronavirus restrictions.

Hampshire County Council is the Commons Registration Authority for the purpose of exercising functions under the Commons Act 2006. An application (ref. VG276) has been made by Petersfield Town Council under Section 15(8) of the Commons Act 2006 for the voluntary registration of land at Borough Hill, Petersfield (‘The Land’) as a town or village green. The Town Council is the freeholder of the land, and the Registration Authority is therefore required to grant the application provided other conditions are met. Those conditions appear to be met in this instance, and so it follows that the application must be accepted.

The report considers applications for grants from the Leader’s Community Grant Fund 2022/23.

Update on Strategic Land Update.

1. That the Director of Economy Transport and Environment approves the Project Appraisal of the 'Portsmouth and South-East Hampshire Transforming Cities Fund – A27 Portchester Bus Priority Scheme’ (“the Scheme”), as set out in this paper.
2. That the Director gives approval to procure, spend and enter into necessary statutory and contractual arrangements to implement this scheme, at a total estimated cost of £378,000, to be funded from the Transforming Cities Fund award (TCF).

That the Director of Children's Services approves the connect4communites Grant Awards 20.07.22 as outlined in the attached Officers Decision Record.
