To introduce a seasonal structure for daily parking charges at Country Parks, with higher charges in peak months (April – September), and lower charges in off-peak months (October – March). This is to come into effect from 1 March 2020, with the exception of River Hamble Country Park, which will change its charging structure in line with the installation of the new car parking system (estimated 22 April 2020).

16/12/2019 - Traffic Order Proposal - 40mph Speed Limit in Louisburg Avenue at Whitehill & Bordon ref: 1317    Recommendations Approved

Decision:

That a traffic order be implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be to implement a 40mph speed limit (existing 30mph) on the following lengths of road at Bordon: Louisburg Avenue (A325) between its roundabout junction (including the circulatory carriageway) with Farnham Road (A325)/Camp Road (B3002) and a point (on Louisburg Avenue) 112 metres south-west of that junction, an approximate distance of 267 metres.
This order will also revoke and re-enact the provisions contained in an existing order save for the change above and minor changes to descriptions for clarity. To correct an anomaly, the description for Forge Road at Kingsley will be amended - there is no change to the existing speed limit.

To temporarily close all Library branches for a staff briefing relevant to the Libraries Public Consultation and future strategy.
Central– the briefing will take place at Winchester Discovery Centre on Thursday 16 January between 09:30-11:30. All central area branches will be closed until midday on this day.
North– the briefing will take place at Basingstoke Discovery Centre on Friday 17 January between 09:30-11:30. All northern area branches will be closed until midday on this day.
West– the briefing will take place at Hythe Library on Tuesday 21 January between 09:30-11:30. All western area branches will be closed until midday on this day.
East– the briefing will take place at Waterlooville Library on Wednesday 22 January between 09:30-11:30. All eastern area branches will be closed until midday on this day.
