That authority be given for the County Council as lessor on behalf of itself and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to terminate the Farm Business Tenancy
dated 20th February 1996 in respect of part of the Manydown land in Basingstoke to which the FBT relates, as detailed in the confidential appendices, in accordance with the approvals given by the Executive Member for Policy and Resources at meetings of 24th July 2018 and 14th July 2020 in respect of securing vacant possession.

Decision:

Hampshire County Council, in its capacity as Commons Registration Authority for Hampshire, received an application under Section 15 of the Commons Act 2006, for the registration of land at Dyson Drive, Winchester, as a town or village green. It asserted that the land should be registered as town or village green because it has been used by a significant number of the inhabitants of a locality (or neighbourhood in a locality) for lawful sports and pastimes for at least 20 years, and they continue so to use it.
