Decision:
In 2015 Hampshire County Council, in its
capacity as Commons Registration Authority for Hampshire, received
an application under Section 15 of the Commons Act 2006, for the
registration of land at Lymington Bottom, Four Marks, as a town or
village green (see Appendix 1 for a location map).
Due to a backlog in applications, this matter was not picked up for
investigation until 2022. At that point, following a review of the
application and an exchange of correspondence, the Applicant
contacted the County Council to confirm that, due to circumstances
relating to the application land, they now wished to withdraw the
application.
Having considered the Applicant’s request to withdraw the
application, along with all other available information, officers
consider that it is reasonable for the request to be accepted
