To provide a further update to Cabinet on the financial position for the County Council in view of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. It provides a snapshot of the latest position in respect of the current financial year and also for the medium term, compared to that reported to Cabinet and County Council in July as part of the update of the Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS). In addition the report sets out the process and framework for the setting of the 2021/22 budget.
