To seek permission for the spend of £1.2million awarded from Public Health England (on behalf of a consortium of 20 local authorities across the South East) to develop a new inpatient detox unit. This project is for funding for one year only and implementation is needed as soon as possible to ensure that the unit is up and running by August.
