The purpose of this paper is to request permission to consult on the proposal for Social Care provision at Firvale Respite Children’s Unit to remain closed.  Firvale is a residential respite unit, in Basingstoke, for children who have a disability.  The service has been closed since the start of the Covid pandemic in March 2020.
